Coming soon - we plan to open to retreat guests during 2026

We welcome anyone who wishes to join us and share in our aspiration to live a simple, healthy and productive life. Guests benefit from joining such a lifestyle, even if only for a few days. Our focus is to offer a space for spiritual retreats, so we don't cater for people seeking a base for tourism.

You will be supported in your retreat if you wish, especially if you are not used to being without TV or Internet for a while! And you will find that the general ambience makes your practice flow more easily than it perhaps does at home.

      Self-guided practice

Our roots are in the Yoga and Christian traditions and we love to share our space with people from diverse spiritual backgrounds. We enjoy the diversity of shared practice times, as each guest brings their own flavour of focused inner exploration: meditation, prayer, contemplation, breath-work, and all manner of yoga poses and other physical exercises from gentle to vigorous. Guests should be confident to follow their own programme of practice, as we don't offer formal teaching. We can provide a little general advice on structuring your retreat program based on the activities you already know.

      Diet

All retreats are full-catered – there are no self-catering options. We provide hearty and healthy vegetarian food packed with fresh veggies, grains, nuts and seeds. We ask guests to avoid any alcohol, tobacco, coffee, meat or fish for the duration of the retreat. We can cater for most food allergies, with many delicious vegan and gluten free recipes up our sleeves. Please discuss any specific requirements with us before booking.

      Practicalities

Simply bring yourself and personal effects. We provide food, bedding and basic Yoga/meditation equipment. Detailed instructions and directions will be sent upon booking.

We are based near Welshpool, in Powys, Wales. Less famous than Cumbria, North Wales or Devon, Powys is nevertheless very pretty and less populous than any of others (people per area). We're around 5 miles from the English border and easy to reach from the Midlands and South-East. We can pick you up from Welshpool station which has good connections. If you prefer to drive, we are fairly close to major roads and have some parking.
