All donations and tips are sent to help people in Thailand with basic necessities. Although some Thais are well off, there are also remote villages with no electricity, limited schooling and sanitation.
I have gained so much from teachers and friends in Thailand; this is my chance to provide something in return. As a foreigner, it can be hard to find the people who are really in need. I am lucky that my teacher Lan grew up in remote Thailand and has good local knowledge. She has chosen all of the projects here, and ensures that the donations have the maximum benefit.
Lan's home village is Namakur, near Kalasin, in North-East Thailand.
